2005-04-10 - 4:27 p.m. Okay, this weekend was everything I hoped it would be and more! I can't even believe how much fun we had and so many cute things happened with me and Cameron that I'll have to majorly refrain from talking incessantly about it, although I make no promises. Alrighty here goes: So when we first got to the building where everything was taking place, we realized that everything was going to be outside which they hadn’t told us. It was butt cold outside and looked rainy and I was in three inch heels which, as soon as I stepped on the slightly wet grass, sunk completely in. So those came off and my toes were numb and wet all night long,. Lovely way to start out. So we looked around for something to do and it looked like basically everyone was standing around talking, so we joined in. I had come with Aimee and Lisa. We sort of were looking around for other people and I set to saying hello to everyone I knew, and it was sort of fun. We hula-hooped for a little while and that got old first and we were feezing. So we were thinking that this was going to be so not fun at all. And then, I saw Cameron. Yay. It got a little bit better. Teehee. So, they officially started the thing by having a fireside. Poorly planned, they should’ve had that after the dance or the next day because everyone was restless and wanting to dance. Anywhoo, he was a good speaker, it just took a really long time. I got to sit by Cameron though so that was nice. So, after the fireside, they let us dance. They had set up a HUGE tent for the kids to dance under and the sound equipment and everything, but it was too small for the 300 plus kids who showed up. It was so crowded that we could barely dance. But it made it warm. Anyway, I don’t have long to write which sucks because it was going to be all detailed but you prolly would’ve been bored anyway, so I’ll just give you the jist. Basically, Cameron asked me to dance (after a long time trying to get the balls to do it) and it was really nice and he was cute to me all weekend and we had a blast the whole time. It really was the dance of my dreams. I wish the dances were like that every month. It made me sooooo excited for prom that I can barely breathe. Like, there were some moments when we were quiet while dancing and I don’t know how he perceived it, but to me, it was just a nice silence where I could kind of enjoy being with him and having no pressure. It was so sweet. I wish I could go into more detail because there were about seventy thousand things he did that were cute, but I can’t stay on any more. So, I’ll leave it all up to your own imaginations. Okay, I’m going to go. *Kisses*
